It's Official...

The Wood Fam is moving to Vernal! It has been the hardest year of my life, but we are finally going to be a "whole" family again. I truly don't want to leave our life here, but would move anywhere to be with Ben again. We will be moving the first weekend of May. We are going to stay with Ben's parents for awhile until we figure out our next move. Watch our DinoLand, here we come...

Easter

Saturday we went to my aunt's house for the annual egg hunt. Mason really got into it this year and was totally focused on finding all his eggs. Each child is given a certain color of egg to find and this year there was "bunny money" in some eggs. The Easter Bunny left a big box of fun toys the kids could buy with their bunny money. It was a great idea so they weren't overloaded with candy. Easter morning was a little rushed. We have 9:00 am church and the boys weren't even awake at 8:45. We woke them up, let them go through their baskets then got them dressed. After naps that afternoon we dyed eggs. Aleisha, Jeremy and the kids came over for dinner and games later that day. It was a great weekend. With the boys getting older, holidays are becoming more and more fun!

Camden turns TWO!

We were in Vernal for Cam's birthday so he was spoiled and got two parties. We had one Saturday at G&G Wood's and one Sunday at my sisters home.

Cake #1

*Cam saw grandma eating this popsicle and decided he wanted that instead of his cake*

Cake #2...This was the first "decorated" cake I've done and I was surprised with how much I enjoyed doing it...But now Mason wants a transformer cake in June...hmmm?!?!

I guess I used too much black food coloring in the icing...everyone had black teeth for awhile

My baby isn't a baby anymore!

Camden at Two...
*HAS to walk up the stairs, not crawl
*LOVES being outside

Hogle Zoo & Sweets Candy Factory

A few weekends ago we took the boys to the zoo. It was the first real "spring" Saturday so it was packed! I've never seen the parking lot that overflowing before, but it wasn't too bad inside the gates. Mason was sad the crocodile (or was it an alligator???) wasn't there anymore but oh boy did he cheer up when he saw the penguins. Yes, they are still his favorite! They were even IN THE WATER! They were swimming and having all sorts of fun. We watched them play for a good 20 minutes before we could tear Mason's attention away. Camden's favorites are the giraffes...he calls them "raffs"...it's cute! We rode the train and the carousel. When riding the carousel, Mason likes to sit in the sleigh looking seats that don't move...exciting, I know! Camden got to ride a wolf and kept calling it "doggy". It was a fun day hanging out with my three favorite boys.

For playgroup today we went on a tour of the Sweet's Candy Factory. It was a lot of fun. They showed us how candies such as cinnamon bears, jelly beans, chocolate jelly sticks (which are my fav) and salt water taffy are made. Did you know it takes seven days to make a jelly bean? We even got to sample some candy right off the line. It was fun and very yummy, I mean educational!

Mason wasn't too into the idea of wearing the hairnet and took his off the first chance he got...
