Pre-Halloween Fun

This weekend we went and got some pumpkins from the pumpkin patch. Mason had a lot of fun picking out his own pumpkins, Camden had fun riding in the wagon and trying to eat the little pumpkins. He kept calling them "apples".

We then went to Gardner Village (along with everyone else in the state of Utah) and had fun looking at all the witches. Mason wanted to ride on the little ponies but once he got in there, became a little scared. So the cute girl working there held his hand the whole time.

Jeremy, Grant and Elyssa came over that evening to carve and paint the pumpkins.

All BOY!!!

Road Trip

A few weeks ago we drove out to Loveland, Colorado to visit my sister and her family. My parents drove with me and the boys so it was a lifesaver to have their help along the way. On the way there, we went through Rocky Mountain National Park. It was a beautiful drive on the way up to 12,000 feet and back down. It was great to just hang out and visit. Some of the highlights of the trip were watching General Conference, playing Settlers three or four times a day, making homemake apple fruit roll ups, making apple pie, shopping at the outlets, and watching Marci play a volleyball game. Great times!

While we were there, Marci got out her box of costumes to see if anything would fit Mason. Stay tuned to find out: WHICH COSTUME WILL HE CHOOSE... ???

The boys LOVED playing outside.

7 Years!

Ben and I celebrated our 7th wedding anniversary this weekend. What a wonderful seven years it has been. Now it hasn't been ALL roses and rainbows (but yes, mostly) but it's those difficult times that have brought us more together and more appreciative of each other. Love ya babe!

We went up to Snowbird on Friday evening and rode the tram up the mountain. It was beautiful with all the fall colors. We weren't exactly prepared for how cold it would be at 11,000 feet (20 degrees) but we had a fun time. We then went to dinner at THE AERIE. We were one of the two couples in the whole restaurant, I guess the rush for the ski lodges hadn't yet begun. We enjoyed dinner then stopped by the Cheesecake factory for some desseret which we took up to the Salt Lake temple.

I thought this was cool. When we were going up you couldn't see where the cable was taking us.
This is where it all began:

Ben and I went on our first date together to our Junior Prom. From there we survived a few breakups, me going off to college, Ben going on a mission...but in the end, we knew we belonged together.

K, so when I was looking through pictures, I found our senior pictures. Recognize these people?

This was taken at our wedding dinner we had that evening at the Lion House.

Happy Anniversary!
