I took Camden in for his 18 month check up today. Yes, he's 19 1/2 months but our insurance just kicked in so, YEAH! He had to get four shots, poor guy! Mason also got a flu shot while we were there and he did so good! I talked to him beforehand about what to expect. He climbed up on the patient table, pulled up his shirt, turned his head the other way and said a quiet "oww" when he was poked and that was it! He was more interested in what bandaid he was being given then the pain! What a brave little boy (I think I would have made more of a fuss then he did!)
Camden's Stats:
Weight: 27.6 pounds (70%)
Height: 35 inches (95%)
Head: 18.7 (40%)

Camden has definately left the "calm and innocent" personality behind! Words to describe him lately would be: destructive, loud, possessive, energetic, hilarious, and everywhere!
Some little tidbits on our not so little Cam Cam...
*You cannot leave him alone when he is eating. If I leave the room, I come back to find whatever he is eating in his hair, on the floor, all over his face and yes, some makes it into his mouth.
*His favorite word lately is popsicle. I bought some a few weeks ago and everytime he went into the kitchen he would go directly to the freezer and say (or scream) "potabol, potabol"! Even now that they have been devoured ages ago, he still asks for them 10 times during the day.
*His favorite activities would be... 1) taking a bath. The instant I say the word bath, he's climbing up the stairs waiting in the bathroom for me. 2) throwing balls (or really anything) down the stairs, 3) turning the water on and off to moms tub while she gets ready, 4) climbing in the dishwasher and pulling out all the silverware.
*He is such a good eater. This last month he has been eating more then Mason, which is quite an accomplishment. I'm so lucky to have boys that will eat anything and everything.
*He is in that in-between phase with his naps. Two naps is too many, and one is just not enough. It just depends on the day if he gets one or two.
*He calls pumpkins "apples". He calls animals by what noises they make. If you show him a cow and ask what it is, it's a "moo". He gibber gabbers all day long. His first big word was "lightning" as in Lighning McQueen of course.
*He always has some sort of bruise, scrape, or scratch on his forehead. He is quite fearless. He would run at full speed off my bed if I wasn't there to catch him.
*For some (disgusting) reason, he is fascinated with the toilet. He was "helping" me fold laundry one day and he unfolded some of his pajama pants and was carrying them around. I asked him to go put them back, so he interpreted that as "go put them in the toilet and then drag them around the bathroom cleaning the floor"...AHHH!!!
*He is the most tickelish boy EVER! He is tickelish on every inch of his body. He is so fun to play with. He loves to be scared. I will hide behind a corner and scare him when he approaches and he will just laugh and laugh with delight. He loves to wrestle with his dad and brother.
*He is a blankie boy! He loves cuddling his blankets and is usually carrying two around the house each day. Unfortunately, he is still a binky boy too. With Mason I set the limit to 18 months on getting rid of the binkies. He was easy to wean. He would chew on them, so one day, he broke the nipple part, said "binky broken", threw it in the trash and that was the end of that. Hmmm, I don't think Camden will be so willing to give up this treasure of his.
Camden is such a cutie, we love him so much!
