Mom's Day...Off!

Ben came home from Vernal early Saturday morning and gave me an early Mother's Day present...the day off! It was WONDERFUL! We are going on a cruise in a few weeks so I wanted to look for a dress to wear on the "formal" night. So I headed off to Salt Lake! Just driving in the car by myself was vacation enough! I got to listen to my own music (Mason is obsessed with listening to his Disney CD wherever we go) and didn't have to worry about things like stopping to use the potty. So... I went shopping, ate at my favorite fast food place, Chick-Fil-A, did some more shopping, called to make sure the kids and Ben were still alive, and shopped some more. Not only did Ben have our two the whole day, but he watched his sisters two also for the day! The best part was after nine hours of running around, I came home to a husband who was so happy I had a good, relaxing day! Thanks Babe!

Trip to Good 'Ole Vernal

We went out to Vernal for a few days last week and had lots of fun. We spent one day at Cindy's (my sister), playing outside and having fun with her kiddos. The next day we played at the park with friends, cousins and my two sisters, Lindsey and Lacey. Wednesday night we put the boys to bed at Grandma and Grandpa's then went over to Mindy and Dave's to play a little RockBand and watch the Jazz lose terribly...it was fun to just hang out. Even though the three hour drive is torture for my two boys, it was fun to get away for a few days.
